Gahna Adaval is a community health leader, inclusion advocate, and serves as the Founding Director of The Brown Bag Project, a grassroots effort supporting underserved individuals and families across Worcester County by blending social justice and behavioral health through critical service learning and mindfulness.
With a background in medicine, public health, and community engagement, she designs culturally responsive programs, leads youth-centered wellness initiatives, and empowers Asian and immigrant communities to build confidence, resilience, and belonging within the community at large. Her work centers compassion, representation, and community-driven change.
At Thriving Asians, Gahna serves as a Mentor in the Youth Mental Health Leadership Programs. She first got involved as an Achieving Whole Health Coach for the 2025 Self-Care Summer for Asian Young Leaders. She continues her role as a Mentor - supporting college students of the Strategic Engagement Intern Team.
