Aryelle Montecer

Aryelle Montecer (she/her) is a second-generation Filipina American who strives to support the mental health of her communities and to dismantle the stigma that surrounds the topic.

Aryelle attended The Catholic University of America in Washington D.C, where she received her B.A in Psychology. It was through her coursework and her involvement in numerous Filipino American organizations she realized she wanted to do work in the mental health field in order to help her community.

Since 2023, Aryelle has been a part of the National Asian American Pacific Islander Mental Health Association (NAAPIMHA) as the organization’s Project Coordinator to coordinate many of their mental health awareness trainings such as Mental Health First Aid and Achieving Whole Health.

Outside of NAAPIMHA, you can find Aryelle either at a random concert during the week, reading a book, or catching up on a show she still hasn’t finished!

At Thriving Asians, Aryelle serves as a Mentor to high school students of the Youth Mental Health Leadership Programs.
