Pathways

for the Youth Mental Health Leader

Feel ready for college -
academically & mentally

About

Offered as part of Thriving Asians’ Youth Mental Health Leadership Programs, the “College Pathways” event serves as a supportive college prep space for Asian young leaders

The session aims to cultivate interest in academic pathways to the mental health field among next generation AANHPI leaders; and highlight the many educational pathways to make positive impacts in AANHPI community health.

Thriving Asians students & alumni share stories of applying to college, maintaining wellbeing throughout application season, and choosing majors for the mental health fields. College and transfer bound students get the chance for “real talk” with peers. Beyond practical college prep, students ask questions about building confidence, coping with self & family expectations, school-life balance, and choosing schools and academic opportunities aligned with your values & goals.

“College Pathways” is the student-led companion event to “Career Pathways for the Youth Mental Health Leader” both offered as part of Thriving Asians’ Youth Mental Health Leadership Programs.
