Caleb Chung (he/him) is a Korean American high school senior from Pennsylvania. Caleb’s project as a Young Visionary in Wellness & Leadership aims to create safe spaces for AANHPI youth to share their experiences, explore mental health and well-being topics, and connect with AANHPI leaders. His project aims to support youth in developing leadership & advocacy skills, becoming agents of positive change in their communities, and pursuing careers in mental health care to serve AANHPI community members.

As a Young Visionary, Caleb conducted a community listening session to gain insight to meaningful safe spaces for Asian youth. Turning insight to action, he developed the “Safe Spaces & Peer Support for AANHPI Youth” Workshop, and partnered with Asian Americans United to deliver the workshop to peer camp counsellors of the Education for Liberation Summer Program.
