Caleb Chung (he/him) is a Korean American high school senior from Pennsylvania. Caleb joined Thriving Asians in 2025 as a Young Visionary in Wellness & Leadership. His project as a Young Visionary aimed to create safe spaces for AANHPI youth to share their experiences, explore mental health and well-being topics, and connect with AANHPI leaders. His project supports youth in developing leadership & advocacy skills, becoming agents of positive change in their communities, and pursuing careers in mental health care to serve AANHPI community members.

Caleb conducted a community listening session to gain insight to meaningful safe spaces for Asian youth. Turning insight to action, he developed the “Safe Spaces & Peer Support for AANHPI Youth” Workshop, and partnered with Asian Americans United to deliver the workshop to peer camp counsellors of the Education for Liberation Summer Program.

Caleb continues to grow in his leadership now as a Senior Youth Mental Health Ambassador. He continues to grow his group SPACES (Safe Havens for Peer Support, AANHPI Community and Empowerment) in partnership with Thriving Asians and Philadelphia-based youth leaders.
