Ishanvi Dasari is a high school junior from North Carolina. As a child of South Asian immigrants, she is passionate about mental health advocacy directed towards the parents of AANHPI, second-generation children like her.

She is involved in multiple literary publications such as Coven of Justice Literary Magazine and formerly — Asian American New Network. Additionally, she is an active member of her school's student government, serving as a junior body representative.

When she's not at marching band practice, she enjoys reading about niche history and falling down Wikipedia rabbit holes.

As a Youth Mental Health Ambassador, Ishanvi aims to bring Thriving Asians mental health education to youth and parents alike through partnership with local cultural and faith organizations.
