Kaelyn Tan is a high school student from the Bay Area, California, deeply engaged in youth leadership and community advocacy.

Through her service on both city and county youth advisory councils, she witnessed firsthand the growing mental health challenges facing young people. This experience inspired her to become involved in mental health advocacy.

She volunteers at Palo Alto Allcove, a youth wellness center, and has collaborated with the California Department of Public Health on youth mental health awareness campaigns.

Kaelyn is excited to join Thriving Asians to support and uplift AANHPI mental health. As a Youth Mental Health Ambassador, she aims to bring a Thriving Asians mental health education initiative to her community through partnership with local wellness centers.
