Youth Mental Health Ambassador
Christina Hua

Christina Hua is the Founder and President of the AAPI CAPE Youth Mental Health Program, which is overseen by the Chinese Community Center (CCC) of the Capital District of NY. The initiative focuses on empowering the community through advocacy, peer support, and education for youth mental health and their families. Through this role, Christina has built a youth executive team, led community initiatives, and organized educational seminars and peer-support workshops. She has established strong relationships within the AAPI community, and has been actively involved in promoting youth mental health awareness and support. Christina’s Ambassadorship project centers on integrating the Thriving Asians community education workshop into CCC CAPE’s Art & Mental Health project. Through this project, Christina aims to provide healing practices through creative expression, and contribute to healthier, more resilient AAPI communities.
