Jaya Moorjani (she/her) is a high school student passionate about spreading Asian culture throughout the Central Florida community.

She primarily works towards this goal through her organization, Explore Asian Culture. Explore Asian Culture makes trips to the local pediatric hospital to broadcast information sessions about Asian holidays and arts. Asian culture has influenced the world in so many ways, which is why she wants to create a community to explore it further.

As a Youth Mental Health Ambassador, Jaya peer facilitated the “Redefining Mental Health: A Foundation for Success” Workshop for the Asian Student Union of Lake Highland Preparatory School. She aims to sustain her impact through further collaboration and workshops with her cultural and arts clubs. Jaya also remains actively involved in Thriving Asians’ Legislative Advocacy Team.
